Christopher D. Mandracchia is a Pennsylvania trial attorney, business lawyer, and founder of CDM LAW, LLC. He represents businesses, owners, and individuals in complex civil litigation, contract disputes, and criminal proceedings. A former Berks County prosecutor with more than 15 years of legal experience, Chris combines substantial courtroom experience with practical business judgment to help clients protect their interests, resolve disputes, and make informed decisions.

Chris began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in Berks County, Pennsylvania, serving from 2010 through 2015 and prosecuting multiple jury trials. He continued developing his civil and criminal trial practice at Mandracchia Law before founding CDM LAW in 2019. His experience includes multiple civil and criminal jury trials, complex contested matters, and successful resolutions through litigation and negotiation. He remains an active trial attorney, personally representing clients in the courtroom and at the negotiating table.

Thorough preparation shapes Chris’s approach to litigation. He evaluates the evidence, identifies the legal and practical issues that will drive the dispute, and develops a strategy around the client’s objectives. Whether pursuing a business claim, defending against substantial liability, or protecting an individual’s rights, he prepares cases with trial in mind while evaluating opportunities for a favorable negotiated resolution.

A substantial part of Chris’s practice involves business litigation, contract disputes, and complex commercial matters. His experience encompasses construction contracts, waste and trash services agreements, business purchases and sales, commercial leases, property disputes, and other contested business relationships. He understands that litigation can affect far more than the immediate claim—it can disrupt operations, strain cash flow, and place important business relationships at risk. His advice accounts for those consequences as well as the legal merits.

Chris also drafts, reviews, and negotiates contracts, leases, and transaction documents. His litigation experience informs that work: he understands how unclear obligations, incomplete protections, and poorly defined remedies can become expensive disputes. He helps clients structure agreements that reflect their business objectives and address foreseeable sources of conflict, including in mergers, acquisitions, construction projects, and ongoing commercial relationships.

Chris brings particular depth to matters involving highly regulated businesses, including waste services companies, smoke shops, dispensaries, and cannabis and hemp businesses. His work in these industries includes regulatory compliance, commercial litigation, asset-seizure matters, contracts, leases, and general business representation. He understands the overlapping commercial, regulatory, and criminal issues these businesses may face and helps owners assess their options within that broader context.

A longtime participant in cannabis law and policy, Chris is a lifetime member of the NORML Legal Committee and a former chair of the Montgomery Bar Association’s Medical Marijuana and Hemp Law Committee. He also presents continuing legal education programs on Pennsylvania cannabis and medical marijuana law.

Through CDM LAW’s outside general counsel services, Chris provides ongoing legal support to businesses that need experienced counsel without the expense of a full-time in-house attorney. He works with owners and management on contracts, transactions, compliance, operational questions, and dispute management. This continuing relationship allows him to develop an understanding of each business and help address legal issues as part of its everyday decision-making.

Chris earned his undergraduate degree from Duke University and his law degree from St. Thomas University College of Law. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania. Based in Conshohocken, he represents clients throughout the Philadelphia region and surrounding Pennsylvania counties.
